About Us!

For the Kids (FTK) is a Middlebury College student community service organization that is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals affiliate. We host fundraising initiatives through the year, but our biggest events are our annual fall FTK Benefit Concert and our spring Dance Marathon.

Last year, our first annual Benefit Concert was attended by more than 200 Middlebury College students and brought to the stage such performing groups as Riddim, Middlebury Discount Comedy, and the Mischords.

Over 300 students registered and fundraised for our Miracle Network Dance Marathon. The culminating event brought together hundreds of students, town residents, and kids from the hospital for a night of live student performances, local food, and, of course, dancing.

The money from all our events goes directly to the hospital to provide child-life care, research, and medical equipment for the children and families it serves. Last year, we raised almost $20,000 for the hospital, and this year we are aiming to raise $25,000.
